Matt began his finance career at Westpac in the lending department, followed by stints with ASB and Canterbury Home Loans.

A dream to own property led to his first property purchase at 22 and Matt is now passionate about helping other people achieve their goals.

“It was such an unknown step for me when I first bought my house.  Although I had been working in the finance industry straight from school there were still a lot of grey areas that I had to work through on my own.’’

Becoming an independent mortgage broker has enabled Matt to offer clients superior support and service and more competitive financial deals.

Committed to excellence, Matt loves nothing better than sitting down with people and finding out what they want and need from their bank – without having to meet targets or cross-sell anything.

“It’s a fantastic feeling knowing I have helped someone into their first home especially when it can be quite a stressful time.  By me being the contact person for the client and their solicitor, real estate agent or valuer I can take a lot of the hassles out of buying a new home.’’

Over the past three years as a Mortgage Broker Matt has helped clients into their first home, subsequent home and often rental property purchases. Matt enjoys using his experience to help develop a long-term vision for the client.
